For our b2b marketing accelerator program, we are continuously looking for freelance Content Marketers to join our customer’s growth marketing team for about a couple of hours a week on average. As a Content Marketer, you are key to organize all content in the customer’s marketing channels. You create, improve and maintain basic content for inbound and outbound marketing, such as email marketing, blog posts, social media posts (LinkedIn), ads and web content. Clients include b2b companies in technology, artificial intelligence and high-end services.

Job summary

You will also publish and monitor content to raise brand awareness, such as case studies, whitepapers, ebooks and other high value content. You search for images and illustrations and will update the content calendar. You will also monitor web traffic and metrics to identify best practices in content marketing. Ultimately, you are able to oversee all content initiatives of a client to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience.

Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, ambitious professional with demonstrable creative writing skills. As a Content Marketer, you should be creative to write persuasive content. You’re curious, doing relevant content research, and you are organized, responsive and customer-focussed. If you are also an expert in content optimization, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Generate SEO content for websites and optimize web page performance for SEO purposes
  • Create and publish engaging content for email marketing, social media, website and landing pages, blogs, newsletters and other inbound and outbound marketing content
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase traffic
  • Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics
  • Manage and monitor the marketing content calendar
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience’s attention
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and develop content style, illustrations and layout
  • Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)

Required skills & experience

  • Hands on experience with Google Docs, MS Office and WordPress
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Use appropriate keywords to maximize search engine visibility
  • Carefully proofread and edit content for clarity
  • Know how to use language to keep the reader interested
  • Be able to come up with fresh content ideas
  • Familiarity with social media
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Good time management skills and responsive
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
