Job summary

You oversee all content marketing initiatives that are part of a growth marketing program for a client as a content manager. You compose an effective content strategy and calendar and monitor the effectiveness of the content marketing program to engage the targeted audience. You know how to deliver informative and educating content that will provide real value to the reader, tied to the business objectives. You write, edit and manage content, briefing and managing our pool of writers. You’re full of ideas and themes to (re)create valuable content that attracts a large, targeted audience.

As a Content manager and writer, you understand all about customer profiles and insights to effectively deliver content for all stages of the buyer journey.   • Develop content strategy tied to short-term and long-term marketing and business objectives
  • Develop and manage an editorial calendar and ensure content writers, editors and subject matter experts are onboard
  • Create and publish engaging content with a focus on long-form copy
  • Edit, proofread and improve existing content, to ensure content is informative, appealing and proficient (according to copy and grammar standards)
  • Up-to-date with developments in content marketing to generate new ideas to draw the audience’s attention
  • Test content strategies, optimizing content engagement based on a data-driven approach
  • Take care of translations, being delivered by translators
  • Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)

Required skills & experience

  • Proven track record for putting a content strategy into practice and owning the process from concepting to writing to publishing
  • Experience as a content strategist and/or copywriter, ideally in tech
  • Be able to come up with fresh content ideas
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new subject matter quickly
  • Professional business and/or technical writing experience
  • Excellent writing skills in English, have a strong grasp of English language and grammar rules
  • Know how to structure content to make it easy to read and scan
  • Be experienced in producing long-form, engaging content to inform and educate
  • Good organization and time management skills
