Job summary

As digital marketing manager you strategize and manage the digital channels for multiple international B2B companies to accelerate growth in Europe and beyond (US). You will add your digital channel expertise to our growth marketing team. You’ll work closely with our Campaign manager, Marketing Operations Manager, Strategist and Growth Marketing Lead to build a predictable lead and opportunity pipeline for our clients and Comarketers itself. You are our go-to source within the team for all digital channels, including the website, search, social, digital advertising, email and marketing automation. You’re focused on driving sustainable growth (like SEO) and impact revenue by performance marketing-by-design. You manage a growth marketer and freelance tech specialists as needed, backed by Marketing Ops support.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced data-driven professional with a proven track record in performance marketing driving growth. Being tech-savvy, you’re highly comfortable with a variety of digital marketing tools and always eager to learn more. Skilled in SEO, SEM, PPC (primarily LinkedIn), and marketing automation. You breathe data, and love to experiment and test different channels to allocate budget and resources to best-performing activities. You help the team with your analyses, reporting and recommendations to optimize for performance. You thrive by a sweet cocktail of strategy and execution. As a hands-on team player and strategist, you’re able to understand the bigger picture, while getting things done. You naturally prioritize activities that have the biggest impact on results, combining quick-wins with sustainable longer-term key activities.

Responsibilities

  • Create digital channel strategies and provide recommendations (team + clients)
  • Develop SEO strategies (SEO audits, keywords and backlink strategies) 
  • Manage on page SEO optimization executed by marketing operations 
  • Develop SEM strategies and run performance audits (Google Ads) 
  • Build and optimize paid search, display and retargeting campaigns
  • Build PPC strategies, analyze and optimize for performance
  • Setup paid social channels like LinkedIn, YouTube (Facebook and Twitter)
  • Monitor social media trends and apply findings to improve performance 
  • Audit and design MarTech stacks
  • Implement marketing automation (HubSpot), incl integrations
  • Develop email and automation strategies and build workflows
  • Manage analysis and optimization of digital channels for conversion
  • Optimize website performance (technical (SEO) website optimization and CRO
  • Manage website development (website wireframes, templates and landing pages)
  • Setup tracking and integrate multiple data sources
  • Build dashboards and reporting in HubSpot and Google Data Studio
  • Manage A/B-testing and multivariate testing to share key takeaways in the growth team
  • Measure, analyze and report on keymetrics and ROI to optimize for conversion 
  • Act as a consultant to other members of the team and to the client
  • Manage a growth marketer and freelance digital specialists 

Required skills & experience

  • 5+ years digital marketing experience at fast-growing startups or agencies 
  • Proven track record in performance marketing
  • Masters multiple digital channels (Google, LinkedIn)
  • Familiar with the Google Suite (Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Data Studio) 
  • Experienced with Marketing Automation (HubSpot)
  • Ability to capture and leverage emerging digital marketing tools (like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Supermetrics, Hotjar, Demandbase, Terminus, 6Sense, Bombora, Clearbit)
  • Analytical, a true data-driven professional 
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written communication skills)
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and clients at the same time
  • Curiosity to learn, instinctively interested in the latest technologies
  • Familiarity with an agile way of working (sprints, lean/scrum)
  • Comfortable with collaboration and productivity tools like Slack, ClickUp, Toggl
  • Experience or willing to give training in digital marketing to clients and professionals a pre
