Job summary

As a growth marketer you will support a wide range of growth marketing activities for the company and its clients. Our ideal candidate has a true passion for marketing and impact, is very ambitious and eager to learn. This role requires a driven, hands-on marketer with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality who can take on a diverse set of activities that fits a high pace startup culture. With a couple of years of B2B marketing and lead generation experience, you are able to build, measure and optimize marketing campaigns to drive demand. You’re eager to build a healthy pipeline for our clients and the company itself.

From the ideation and design of multi-touch campaigns, to building and measuring the results; your job is a sweet cocktail of strategy and execution, from great thinking to fast-paced delivery. You’ll work on different lifecycle stages, from lead generation and nurturing with top and mid funnel activities (e.g. affiliate marketing, content syndication, SEO, PPC, inbound, outbound and social) up to nurturing programs and account-based marketing to boost pipeline growth. As part of a growth marketing team you work closely with content, design and marketing ops to build, measure and improve marketing campaigns to accelerate opportunity pipeline growth.

Responsibilities

  • Come up with creative ideas to generate leads and drive traffic to support pipeline growth
  • Design and build multi-channel marketing campaigns, both inbound and outbound 
  • Continuously discover and test new marketing channels, online publishers, trends and best practices to improve lead quality and volume across multiple channels 
  • Run (sponsored) social media campaigns, including copy, creatives and landing pages
  • Design and build outbound campaigns to support sales to reach out to prospects, creating emails that prospects will open en respond to
  • Develop lead nurture programs, including segmentation, copy and automation workflows to engage leads with relevant content that fit the buyer stage they are in
  • Build compelling landing pages with relevant call-to-actions, forms and thank you pages to capture and convert leads – or something more creative 🙂
  • Localize and/or verticalize European campaigns to specific EU countries or industry verticals
  • Regularly track, measure and report on campaign KPIs and key funnel metrics across the demand generation program, analyzing campaign performance, effectiveness and ROI
  • Test a wide range of growth tactics, traffic and activation tactics and conversion rate optimization
  • Automate effective campaigns and programs, including dynamic lists and automation workflows, progressive profiling, lead scoring, content asset management and reporting
  • Optimize and improve campaigns by continuous iterations to campaigns to improve bottom line result, increasing engagement and conversion rates
  • Support the development of training guides and tutorials for our remote Marketing Operations team in South Africa to support the team with marketing operations tasks (eg list building, reporting and SEO)

Required skills & experience

  • Marketing pro with 3+ years of experience in developing and executing B2B multi-touch marketing strategies and demand gen programs
  • Proven track record with demonstrable impact on pipeline growth and revenue
  • Able to prioritize with tight deadlines in a fast paced environment – it’s more likely we need to slow you down instead of encouraging you to go faster
  • Ambitious marketing professional, strongly motivated and eager to learn
  • Values freedom and responsibility, a self starter who takes full ownership
  • Data-driven, able to track performance and allocate own resources to best-performing efforts
  • Creative mind to come up with new fresh ideas to generate traffic and leads
  • Blends strategy with a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Full understanding of inbound marketing and account based marketing
  • Comfortable (learning) tools, such as WordPress, Elementor, Marketing Automation (eg Hubspot, Pardot), SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Data Studio
  • Skilled in one or multiple acquisition channels (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, YouTube)
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal, including a strong grasp of English grammar (a 2nd European language is a nice to have)
